CHESHIRE HOUNDS HUNT CHASE AND KILL FOX IN GROUNDS OF HOME OF HIGH SHERIFF OF CHESHIRE
On 1st January, a team of monitors witnessed the Cheshire Hunt chasing two foxes into the grounds of Tirley Garth in Willington, home of the High Sheriff of Cheshire Alexis Redmond MBE and her husband Phil, famous as creator of long-running TV shows Brookside, Hollyoaks and Grange Hill.
We found evidence that at least one fox was killed in the grounds.
The incident was reported to police, who attended briefly. We have since attempted to speak to Mrs Redmond to discuss the matter, without success.
