Man who ‘stood on hare while his dog mauled it’ facing trial

Paul Bowes , 29, of Rochester Close in Bishop Auckland, will appear at Hull Magistrates’ Court for trial on July 28, 2020, after pleading not guilty to hunting a wild animal with a dog and causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal, a brown hare, by standing on the hare while allowing the dog to maul it at Rise.

Michael Richardson , 37, of Lowther Road in Bishop Auckland, will appear at Hull Magistrates’ Court for trial on July 28, 2020, after pleading not guilty to hunting a wild mammal with a dog at Rise on January 2, 2020.
