NEWS: The Ross Harriers hunt in Herefordshire has apologised after a family’s pet cat was killed by some of the hounds which had strayed from the group.
It happened in Kilpeck on Saturday (21st Feb) after the hunt laid a scent trail through nearby woods.
The Joint Master of Ross Harriers, Anna Ernsting, has told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "It is very unusual for our hounds to leave the trail laid for them and we are very sorry that it happened and for the distress this caused the family."
