An “impartial” magistrate passes sentence on an illegal fox hunter

Published on Oct 18, 2013

Zsa Roggendorff chaired a bench of magistrates that passed sentence on Nick Bycroft, huntsman of the Crawley and Horsham Hunt, on 17 Sept 2013. This was for a Hunting Act offence.

She admitted being a neighbour of the defendant , but earlier footage showing hunting on “her land” indicates that she might not have been unsympathetic. She gave him only a conditional discharge!
