Crawley & Horsham Huntsman pleads guilty to illegal hunting

Nick Bycroft, huntsman for the Crawley & Horsham Hunt, appeared at Worthing Magistrates Court today for illegally hunting a fox with a dog, an offence under Section 1 of the Hunting Act.

Mr Bycroft who pleaded guilty, received a 12 month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay £150 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.

The incident was filmed by an independent monitor earlier this year.
