Shropshire huntsman Otis Ferry appeared in court today charged with a driving offence.
The 28-year-old son of Roxy Music star Bryan Ferry was at Worcester Magistrates Court charged with failing to give information regarding a driver’s identity.
He spoke only to confirm his name and address during the five-minute hearing.
Pro-hunting campaigner Ferry, from Eaton Mascott, near Shrewsbury, also took the oath in a brief spell in the witness box before signing a declaration form.
Sitting at the back of the court, Ferry, who is joint huntmaster of the South Shropshire Hunt, indicated a not guilty plea.
The offence is alleged to have happened between June 11 and July 13 last year in Droitwich, Worcestershire.
Ferry, who was dressed smartly in a black jacket, blue shirt and red tie with jeans, will give evidence in a one-hour trial at the same court next month.
District Judge Bruce Morgan adjourned the case until February 1.
